We manage over 200 apartments across New York City and are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance, Repair & Painting Technician to join our team full-time. Must have solid hands-on experience handling bathroom repairs, painting, and general apartment fixes.
Responsibilities include:
- Bathroom repairs: toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads, drains, caulking, tiles, etc.
- Sheetrock patching, wall repair, and full or touch-up painting
- General apartment fixes: doors, locks, minor carpentry
- Interior painting of rooms and common areas
- Troubleshooting and reporting larger issues that may require licensed contractors
- Uploading job photos and updates through our maintenance app and internal chats
- Clear communication with text and picture updates from job sites
Requirements:
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, professional, and respectful in tenant spaces
- Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Must have a pick up truck/car
- Own tools required
- Proven hands-on experience in bathroom repairs, sheetrock, and painting
- Able to use a mobile app to log work and upload before/after photos
- Dependable and able to complete jobs efficiently and independently
