Aviator Sports and Events Center, a premier sports and recreation complex which includes a 175,000 sq. ft indoor facility featuring state-of-the-art ice rinks, a 15,000 sq. ft gymnastics center, wood floor basketball courts and two outdoor fields is currently looking for motivated, friendly and hard-working individuals to join our growing team. We are searching for part-time hourly maintenance workers to work with internal and external environments with cleaning, dusting, mopping, shoveling, maintenance and seasonal tasks.
Qualified individuals should have excellent skills and strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
FACILITY WORKER -
Shifts Part-time (30hrs to 32hrs) 10 am to 4pm and 4pm to 11pm (Able to work weekends)
Performs custodial work in offices and building interior/exterior to include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, waxing and polishing floors using industrial vacuum cleaners, and scrubbing and buffing machines
Communicate regularly with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on all equipment and assigned jobs
Relate to public and to customers in a professional, courteous and respectful manner, appropriately responding to complaints
Occasionally using ladders to wash windows
Sweep outdoors and removing snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
Clean and maintain facility bathrooms
Ability to learn to drive large equipment
Qualification/Requirements:
Willing to work as a team player
Excellent Customer Service skills
Able to lift 25 – 50 lbs without any limitations
Knowledge working with facility equipment
Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
The base pay range for this position is an hourly rate between $16 - $18. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
