Velocity Moving & Storage is looking to hire energetic candidates to join our team of professional movers!
Experienced Drivers & Foremen
(Foremen)- Will be leading the moving crew on the Job, distributing duties, ensuring the crew's efficiency and safety.
(Drivers)- You will be responsible for driving the truck locally in the Tri- State area.
We expect the candidates to be a presentable individuals with good social skills and good manners.
Requirements:
Experience in the moving industry is a PLUS, but not required.
Flexibility to work a schedule that may include weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Reliable and on time! Lateness and No-Show will not be tolerated
You are able to work well with others
Be Friendly- A smile and a good attitude leads to a happy customer, excellent gratuity and more work.
Strong-You'll be carrying furniture and boxes daily, ability to lift heavy items.
Basic carpentry skills are a plus ( there is use of basic tools for furniture disassembly/assembly)
Respectful of customer's property and personal space.
Display professional conduct, courtesy and manners when entering and performing work in customer's homes or office.
