I am a certified Teacher. I've taught Prek to elementary level in general ed capacity and as a Special ed teacher. I have the patience and training to assist a child with special ed needs. I have experience as a Nanny too. I love newborns and really like helping children reach each developmental milestone. I have been a Nanny to children ages infant to tweens. I've done private tutoring for typical children, children with specific special needs (wheel chair and tech to communicate) and I've tutored child actors also. I am transitioning out of the classroom to hopefully find the right fit for a Nanny position. I am a mature female candidate in good health. I enjoy the outdoors, walks, bikerides and short hikes. I swim and drive a safe car. I do artwork and love to do crafts with kids. I am a widow with open availability. My years as a widow have made me a handy person, I can fix household things or figure it out fairly quickly. I have 3 grown children. I am looking to help a family in the NYC and surrounding areas with any childcare needs, tutoring, and housework / chores or errands. I can live in or out. I reside in NJ near the Lincoln tunnel but can travel or stay over at even Hampton locations. I like open communication so everyone feels comfortable and aslo know when to stay in my lane. I offer first meeting non-paid time with your children under your supervision so you can feel if there's good chemistry. I"m looking for a starting rate of $38-40 an hour or a salary of $100k.
