NYC City Operations Associate – Join Our Growing Team!
We’re seeking a driven and proactive individual to become part of our New York City and Brooklyn Operations Team as a City Operations Associate. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our City Operations and Onboarding Managers to manage the daily needs of our guests and homes. You’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy, navigating the city, prioritizing tasks, and making quick decisions on the go.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the City Operations Manager on guest coordination, vendor management, and onboarding new homes.
Support operations with in-market vendors such as cleaners, repair technicians, and handymen.
Deliver items to homes, address last-minute guest requests, and perform minor property maintenance.
Troubleshoot issues, replenish home supplies, and ensure homes are guest-ready.
A Day in the Life: There’s no “typical” day in this role! You’ll handle a variety of tasks, from fulfilling guest requests to inspecting homes for maintenance issues. You'll also assist with urgent situations like lockouts or emergency requests, making every day unique.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of hands-on property management experience.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using platforms like Slack, Notion, and Breezeway.
Flexible schedule, with the ability to manage emergencies and last-minute requests.
Handy with tools and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation for traveling to various locations.
Bonus Points:
Experience in property onboarding or guest services.
Passion for IoT and smart home tech.
Hospitality experience is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compensation:
$25-$35/hour with a $10/day meal stipend (for shifts over 4 hours).
Hourly pay during commute time between properties and your residence.
