Job Opportunity: Part-Time Venue Maintenance/Cleaner - Heavy Lifting Required
We’re looking for two hardworking and reliable porters/handymen to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a job but is looking to supplement their income with flexible, part-time work.
Responsibilities:
Safely lift and move items weighing up to 150 pounds.
Set up and arrange tables and chairs according to floor plans.
Hang light fixtures as needed.
Move chairs, banquet tables, and occasionally stage platforms from a basement to the event space.
Perform general repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchen, and basement floors to ensure all spaces are spotless and ready for use.
Keep the space clean and organized before, during, and after events.
Power wash the outside of the building as needed.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy items consistently.
Attention to detail when arranging event spaces and cleaning.
Basic handyman skills for repairs and light installations.
Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Details:
Pay: $20 per hour.
Schedule: Part-time, scheduled per event (not consistent). Flexibility is key—perfect for those with another job or other commitments.
