Position Summary
Haunted Bank NYC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter/Cleaning Technician / Janitor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential to ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for both staff and guests. Key Responsibilities:
● Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including exhibition spaces, common areas, and
restrooms
● Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
● Dust surfaces, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed
● Sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
● Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
● Address and resolve spills or messes promptly
● Uphold health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
● Strong organizational skills
● Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
● Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Self-motivated and able to work independently
● Effective communication skills
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
● Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical to success in this role.
● Positive attitude and collaborative spirit to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining professionalism.
Compensation
