Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Job Description:We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Prep Guy & Detailer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint and detailing, performing high-quality cleaning, and ensuring that all vehicles leave the shop looking their best. This is a versatile role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
-Wash and prepare vehicles before detailing, including cleaning the exterior, interior, and undercarriage as required.
-Perform comprehensive vehicle detailing services including waxing, polishing, interior cleaning, vacuuming, leather conditioning, and upholstery care.
-Inspect all vehicles after detailing to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Assist with the application of body filler and smoothing surfaces
- Perform minor body repairs and dent removal
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto body repair and prep work is preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks
