Brooklyn Candle Studio is hiring full-time seasonal help in our Wholesale Shipping department (with occasional cross-department support).
This role starts as soon as possible and runs through late December (with possible extension into January/February of the new year). Seasonal positions may have the option to become permanent in the future, depending on our company needs and mutual interest in extending the position.
What you’ll do:
Pull, pack, and ship orders with care and accuracy
Prepare bulk orders for shipment, including barcoding, boxing, and pallet prep
Print packing slips/labels and stage pallets for carrier pickup
Load/unload palletized shipments on and off trucks using a pallet jack
Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and basic data entry
Keep inventory and supplies organized; help maintain a clean, safe workspace
Support other shipping teams as needed
What we’re looking for:
Reliable teammates with strong attention to detail and clear communication
Comfort working in a warehouse environment (on your feet most of the day)
Strong preference for candidates with prior warehouse/fulfillment experience; familiarity with pallet jacks and safe handling of heavier items is a plus
Physical demands: role includes regular lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, and climbing ladders
Schedule, pay and location:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (seasonal)
Hourly pay: $18/hr
