Job Title: Shift Lead Package Sorter
Location: Woodside, Queens
Shift: 6 PM - Until Finished
Pay: $20 per hour
We are seeking a motivated and organized Shift Lead Package Sorter to join our team. As the Shift Lead, you will manage a team of 9 sorters, ensuring efficient and accurate sorting of packages during the night shift. Your responsibilities will include managing the schedule, providing guidance and support to the sorters, and actively participating in the sorting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the schedule for 9 people.
- Assist and oversee the sorting of packages to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize a phone app to manage tasks and communicate with the team.
- Ensure all packages are sorted correctly and in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized work environment.
- Pay close attention to detail to avoid errors in the sorting process.
Requirements:
- Must speak English; Spanish is a plus.
- Proficient in using a phone app for task management and communication.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work the night shift from 6 PM until the sorting process is complete.
