Long Island Carpet Cleaners, Inc. is a fifth generation family business based in Queens. We are looking for a driver to work on our truck route, in our warehouse and as a cleaning technician.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Clean, valid Driver License (CDL not required).
2. Speak, read and write English. Follow paperwork instructions, lists, etc.
3. Handle physical requirements of the job (carefully rolling, unrolling and lifting rugs). HEAVY LIFTING REQUIRED.
4. Customer service friendly. Prior customer service experience is not required.
5. Available to work daytime hours Mondays through Fridays, some weekends and overnights as needed.
6. Willing to be flexible working as a driver, helper, in the warehouse as needed.
7. Have a positive attitude, work well with others and be professional at all times.
8. Forklift experience preferred (not required)
9. Box truck driving experience preferred (not required)
10. Rug cleaning or other similar experience helpful (not required), but must be willing and able to learn cleaning procedures with proper attention to detail.
11. Must be able to reliably commute.
