Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented eCommerce Product Listing and Legal Compliance Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our eCommerce operations meet all legal requirements and industry standards while optimizing product listings and ensuring they adhere to regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements relevant to our eCommerce operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product listings comply with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FTC, FDA, etc.) and IP Laws.
Conduct regular audits of online product catalogs to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations impacting eCommerce businesses and our products.
Manage product data accuracy and compliance across multiple platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
Work closely with product teams to ensure new products meet legal and compliance requirements from inception to launch.
Implement best practices for eCommerce product listings, including accurate product descriptions, images, and categorizations.
Monitor marketplace performance pages, promptly address compliance warnings, and respond to violations.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Paralegal Experience in IP Law Firm, or extended experience in eCommerce operations with a focus on legal and compliance aspects.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and their operational requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving compliance issues.
Certification or training in eCommerce compliance or related fields is a plus.
