We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our team in Long Island City, NY. This full-time, in-office position is located in Long Island City, Queens at the corner of Jackson Ave. and Queens Blvd.
Position Details:
- Firm Operating Hours: M-F 9:00AM - 8:00PM Saturdays 10:00AM to 6:00PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with bankruptcy filings and case management.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents related to bankruptcy cases.
- Manage client communications and case updates.
- Conduct legal research and ensure timely case processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bankruptcy paralegal.
- Proficiency in bankruptcy law and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently / Team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in the United States legally
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) is preferred but not required
