A law office currently located in the New Dorp area of Staten Island seeks an experienced Paralegal for an in-person Paralegal position. The firm of interest focuses mostly on Real Estate Law, Civil Litigation, Immigration Law, and Divorces.
Position shall include drafting transactional and court documents, answering phones, conducting legal research using LexisNexis, directing correspondence with clients and opposing counsel, completing court filings using NYSCEF, PACER, EDDS, etc. and other requested day-to-day administrative tasks.
The Applicant will be working closely alongside three Partners in a congenial and close-knit office setting. A suitable applicant must be well-organized, personable, and have strong writing and research skills.
This is a paid position starting at $22.00 per hour with great room for growth. A suitable applicant is expected to work between 3-5 days per week with flexible hours, with consideration for full-time work and salary for the right candidate. The applicant should have an interest and some experience in the fields of Civil Litigation and Immigration Law.
