About the Role:
Established New York Personal Injury firm seeks a bilingual (Spanish/English) experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This position offers career growth opportunities in a supportive legal environment.
Essential Requirements:
Fluent Spanish and English (Must be bilingual)
Minimum 2 years Personal Injury case handling experience
Associate Degree or higher
Legal authorization to work in the US
Must be able to commute to office (NOT REMOTE)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
Notary Public certification preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Handle Personal Injury cases independently
Manage Spanish-speaking client communications
Process new Bodily Injury claims
File No-Fault applications
Prepare settlement packages
Process loss wage claims
Manage property damage claims
Handle regular mailings/shipping via:
US Post Office
FedEx
UPS
Draft complaints for various personal injury cases:
Motor vehicle accidents
Premises liability
Animal attacks
Product liability
Medical/dental malpractice
Assault/battery cases
False arrest claims
Technical Skills Required:
Proficient in:
Microsoft Word & Excel
Adobe Suite
Google Workspace (Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Smart Advocate
LexisNexis
Working knowledge of NY legal platforms:
