A confidential plaintiff-side employment litigation firm seeks an experienced litigation paralegal with deep familiarity in discrimination, retaliation, and wage-and-hour matters.
The ideal candidate is fluent in the day-to-day mechanics of litigation—drafting filings, coordinating discovery, managing meet-and-confers, issuing subpoenas, scheduling and summarizing depositions, and preparing trial binders.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated litigation expertise.
All hires begin on a per-diem, project-based basis (drafting, filing, and case-support assignments) before consideration for a full-time role. Must be in office 3 days a week minimum, should an employment position be offered.
Qualifications:
5+ years of active litigation experience (employment or comparable complex cases).
Mastery of NYSCEF/ECF filings and discovery procedures.
Strong legal writing, organization, and attention to detail.
