Growing Boutique Personal Injury law firm is looking for an experienced paralegal with at least 2 years of experience to become a part of our team. Great work environment and unlimited career opportunity.
Candidate must have high-energy, be a self-starter, have excellent computer skills, think outside the box and can work in a busy collaborative environment.
Requirements:
2 or more years of general litigation experience required;
Excellent communication skill; reading, writing, proofreading, spelling and grammar skills;
Must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational skills;
Ability to communicate effectively;
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and meet all deadlines;
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting is a MUST.
Familiarity with legal terminology and basic understanding of legal processes.
Must Speak English and Spanish.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Prepare correspondence and legal documents;
Draft Bills of Particulars, Respond to discovery demands and draft Summons & Complaints;
Communicate with clients, counsel, courts etc.
Some college education preferred.
MUST HAVE LAW OFFICE EXPERIENCE. IF YOU HAVEN'T WORKED FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS IN A LAW OFFICE, DO NOT APPLY.
