Marketing Coordinator
Overview
We are looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator for 4 days a week at first, with room for a 5th day by the end of the year.This role combines social media management, copywriting, and marketing strategy. You’ll be responsible for building campaigns across multiple platforms, maintaining a consistent brand voice, and driving growth through content, ads, and email.
You do not necessarily need to be proficient in the creative side of content creation but it helps!
We are a small company so the marketing director needs to be cohesively in charge of content and marketing scheduling. This means it is a combination of metrics, ad building, email building and content planning. The content creation we are flexible on. You must have some knowledge of cameras and film and at the very least be able to outsource content creation to other professionals (paid) and/or our employees in house.
This position starts at 4 days a week. Flexible scheduling is available, some work can be remote, but candidates must also be able to work in person.
Responsibilities
Email & Newsletter Campaigns
Build and manage email campaigns through Klaviyo.
Monthly company newsletter.
Monthly “Expired Film Club” newsletter.
Some other additional one-off campaigns per month.
Sales & Promotions
Update and test website popups and banners and other flyers.
Build and manage ad campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop, and other channels.
Content & Scheduling
Develop and maintain posting schedules for blogs and social media.
Write copy for 2 film features and 1 camera feature each month, including blog posts and Instagram posts.
Daily Instagram story posts, plus scheduling regular grid posts and other content.
Collaboration & Content Creation
Work with our photographer, designers, and other employees to source and create content.
Collaborate with clerks and staff for copy and content creation support.
Other Marketing Projects
Organize giveaways and promotional events.
Analyze platform data and trends to refine campaigns.
Handle and help with hiring outreach when needed
Ensure all content fits into a cohesive brand identity.
Qualifications
Extremely self-governing and proactive.
Comfortable and fast with digital tools.
Extensive knowledge of ad building and Klaviyo (or equivalent email platform).
Strong experience with Instagram and Meta ad platforms.
Knowledge of at least two of the following: Notion, Shopify, Mailchimp, Zapier, Google Analytics.
