Job Title: Data Analyst (Digital Marketing Focus)
Job Summary:
The Data Analyst will support our digital marketing efforts by analyzing Google Ads performance, ad effectiveness, and marketing spend. This role requires strong analytical skills to provide insights on marketing performance and financial impact. The ideal candidate is experienced with data analysis, knowledgeable in Google Ads, and able to communicate insights clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
Dive deep into marketing data from various sources, including website analytics, CRM systems, etc. This data will encompass impressions, clicks, conversions, audience demographics, and campaign performance metrics (paid and organic).
Clean and manipulate data for insightful analysis, leveraging advanced Excel techniques and functions.
Apply statistical and mathematical methods to identify trends and patterns in marketing data, uncovering key drivers of success and areas for optimization across both organic and paid channels.
Create clear and engaging data visualizations (charts, dashboards) to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including marketing and leadership teams.
Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI.
Stay current with the latest marketing analytics trends and tools, demonstrating strong self-learning skills and adaptability to new technologies and methodologies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement A/B tests for various marketing initiatives, measuring effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Math, etc.).
Proficient in SQL or similar querying languages to extract and manipulate data.
Proficiency in advanced Excel techniques, including tables, formulas, and pivot tables for data manipulation and analysis.
Hands-on experience with Google Ads and digital marketing analytics.
Strong skills in math and analysis, especially with financial data and statistical modeling.
Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Clear communicator who can explain data insights to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.
Google Ads certification is a plus.
Workdays: Mon-Fri, 09:00 am-6:00 pm (40 hrs. weekly, 1 hr. unpaid lunch/personal time)
