E-Comm Director Of Marketing

A premium seafood distributor, bringing in daily seafood shipments from

around the world to distribute throughout North America with our primary distribution channel being B to C through Shopify. Working from our headquarters

in NY, NY, the E-Commerce Manager will work alongside our marketing, sales,

and operations teams to exceed revenue goals. The position is a hybrid position at this time.

The E-Commerce Manager will oversee and optimize the online sales operations for

various e-commerce platforms. The E-Commerce Manager will manage the e-commerce platform, improve the user experience, actively engage with customer service, and drive sales and revenue growth. They will play a

crucial role in developing and executing e-commerce strategies, expanding our market

reach, and enhancing customer satisfaction, making them instrumental in the success and

profitability of our online businesses. Directs, administers, and coordinates marketing

activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Update, modify, and maintain multiple websites across Shopify platforms to include

the creation and management of products, information, and recipe pages on

websites,

. Coordinating online inventory with inventory at the business,

. Maintaining performance and messaging throughout the website with a focus on

driving traffic and sales to the sites

. Execute and/or oversee written content for websites and digital ads, ensuring

content is grammatically correct, SEO-friendly, and fits within our overall brand

voice.

. Optimizing the UX, regularly updating relevant pages with new content, and

continually developing our e-commerce platforms

A major focus will be creating a daily checklist to make sure that the site is operating at peak

performance.

. Execute website uploads, including new products, banners, and other marketing

collateral.

. Managing and executing promotional activities, including various social

media/influencer/paid advertising campaigns and POS materials

. Be a subject matter expert for all E-Commerce activities and 3rd party integrations'

. Lead internal and external resources to execute SEO campaigns, web development,

photography, video shoots, etc., as required to achieve growth objectives

. Organize Newsletter production with focused and relevant input with our current Google doc as the roadmap.

. Arrange Social Media posts and content on Instagram, Facebook, Linked In,

Pinterest, Tik Tok and YouTube.

. Work with internal and external resources to develop multi-channel marketing

strategies.

. Assist with development, testing, and QA.

Implement a robust a/b testing strategy for all new changes made to the website with our web dev and be able to report back on all the changes and the results of the effort.

. Monitor and report on all digital activity, including metrics around traffic, new

customer acquisition, sales, and conversion rates; resolve any issues that may be

negatively affecting those metrics

. Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support product selection and

identify product gaps

. Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by product

category, new product sell-through, and marketing performance

. Handle technical and customer service issues as they arise, including questions

about products, helping with navigating the shopping cart, and problem-solving technical

issues that arise with the customer service team.

. Ensure good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of

customer issues or questions

. Working with the sales, operations, and warehousing teams to ensure

smooth online order fulfillment.

. Attend morning sales calls to determine what's current and what might be

relevant for website and/or social media messaging. 15-minute meetings – 3-5 bullet points

. Ability to communicate in emails with a clear and friendly message'

. Experience in Creative Marketing writing for newsletters, websites, and social media

messaging.

. Writing and improving marketing language from B2B POS to retail consumers.

Coordinate a second 15-minute meeting with our B-to-B salesperson

. Plans and coordinates the marketing of current and new products

. Develops and coordinates the production of marketing and promotional materials

and programs, including but not limited to print, electronic media, direct mail, and

signage.

. Develops plans, programs, and promotions to improve market penetration and meet

corporate objectives.

. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

. Have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

. 3 -5 years of successful e-commerce management

. Must have at least 3 years of experience with Shopify

Must have the same with Klayvio & Attentive (SMS or the like)

Must know e-commerce CRM and Loyalty plan (we use Gorgias and Yotpo)

. Have prior experience in a similar role. Experience in digital marketing is a plus.

. Technical expertise utilizing a Shopify e-commerce platform; capable of making

changes, updates, and evolving the e-commerce platform.

. Possess a solid understanding of e-commerce frameworks.

. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in Photoshop and

InDesign is a plus

. The ability to produce content in Canva is a plus

. Excellent proficiency in HTML/CSS - while you won't be responsible for heavy

coding, you should have a strong understanding of HTML / CSS and be able to edit

code as needed.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.

. Graphic Design experience a plus

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
