Social Media Intern – Fashion & Home Decor Brand
Location: NYC Remote and occasional In person
Commitment: part time 5-10 hours a week 14 weeks (until May 30th)
Compensation: $15-20 Per hour
About Us:
Raba is a new and exciting brand that uses handwoven fabrics from across Africa to create beautifully crafted shoes and home pieces. We are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Intern to help us grow our presence on TikTok and Instagram, engaging with our audience and bringing our brand story to life.
Responsibilities:
Develop and schedule engaging content for TikTok and Instagram, including reels, stories, and posts.
Brainstorm and execute creative ideas to showcase our products in a compelling way.
Monitor trends and leverage them to increase visibility and engagement.
Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and interacting with similar brands.
Meet in person once a week for video content.
Who You Are:
Passionate about fashion, home decor, and storytelling through social media.
Skilled in creating engaging and high-quality TikTok and Instagram content.
Up to date on the latest social media trends, hashtags, and algorithms.
Experienced in growing and maintaining an engaged online community.
Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Experience with video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.) is a plus.
