Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Art Instructor to guide participants through a step-by-step painting experience during our paint and sip events. As an Art Instructor, you’ll lead individuals through the creation of a beautiful painting while providing an upbeat and enjoyable atmosphere for guests to explore their creativity. A passion for teaching, art, and creating a positive environment is key!
Responsibilities:
-Lead guided painting sessions for groups of guests in a fun and engaging manner.
-Provide step-by-step instructions while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
-Help guests with painting techniques, including color mixing, brush strokes, and finishing details.
-Create a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere that encourages social interaction and relaxation.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after events.
-Ensure all necessary materials are prepared and available for each event.
-Engage with guests to foster a fun, supportive, and inclusive experience.
-Promote upcoming events and encourage guests to return.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience as an art teacher or instructor.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to lead a group and make art accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic event setting.
-Friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor.
-Must be available for evening or weekend events (schedule flexibility preferred).
-Experience with the paint and sip concept or similar events is a plus.
-A background in fine arts, art education, or related fields is preferred.
