Description:
Brooklyn Editions is a fine art printing studio located in South Slope, Brooklyn. We are a boutique studio operation dedicated to producing the highest quality prints with unmatched attention and service. We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented studio assistant to help finish, cut, package, and ship print projects. There may be other various tasks in any aspect of printing that come up too. We are a small studio with a busy upcoming schedule, and we need someone who is well organized and careful to help fulfill some large projects at the high level of quality and service that we are known for.
The Role:
Interdisciplinary position primarily managing the finishing of prints, plus miscellaneous studio operations.
We are looking for someone available next week April 8 2024, or potentially the week of April 15 2024, who will be able to work on-site at our location from 10.30 AM - 6.00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing shipping software and tracking
- Meticulous handling, cutting, and packing of delicate prints
- Maintaining inventory of shipping and packing materials
- Managing the varied demands of our day-to-day operations including invoicing, inventory, studio maintenance etc.
