You have an interest in: Sustainable design, interior design, learning how to build out a club interior, industrial design, eco home building, carpentry, metal work, upholstery, sewing, crafting, DIY, design/build, marketing, merchandising, retail, sustainable and circular economies, research, media production, social media and everything having to do with learning about running a small business start-up!
Skills:
Quick learner with a good attitude and self starting, with an ability to keep yourself busy and motivated on your own and have a good work ethic.
Wood shop, carpentry, welding, upholstery and sewing experience a plus.
Computer skills a plus and literacy in any of the following programs is preferred: Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Drive, Blender, Sketch-up, autoCAD, Unreal engine, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro a plus but not required.
Social Media Savvy
Knowledge or interest in e-commerce and retail platforms a plus
Understanding the online marketplace and web advertising a plus
Good people skills and an enthusiasm about sustainability
Happy working in a non-traditional atmosphere
Photography and video skills a plus
Drivers license a plus
Willing to go work in the city and potentially upstate.
A daily stipend for lunch and travel will be provided. There are opportunities for employment following if it is a good fit. School credit is available upon request.
