We are a growing fabrication shop in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area looking for an experienced Project Manager. We specialize in millwork for high-end retail and residential projects. We build highly custom free standing and built-in pieces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years previous experience in project management in millwork, construction, or a related field
- Hands on experience in fabrication and cabinet making
- Knowledge of different types of wood, hardware, and materials relevant to the field
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proven communication skills and ability to lead in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installation
- Experience with various PM softwares (Asana, Monday, etc)
- Ability to work with limited supervision
DUTIES
- Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation plans, and schedules
- Run and direct projects from design phase through completion
- Interface with clients
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Assist with take offs and material orders
- Develop and maintain processes to maximize operational assets bandwidth
