Sign Installer – Architectural Signage (Queens, NY)
We are a busy architectural sign company specializing in interior ADA, wayfinding, and architectural signage for hospitals, universities, and corporate clients. We are looking for a full-time Sign Installer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Install interior and exterior signage (ADA, wayfinding, dimensional letters, architectural signage, vinyl graphics).
- Perform site surveys and take accurate field measurements.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, floor plans, and installation instructions.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and building staff on site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.
Requirements
- Prior sign installation experience (ADA/architectural signage preferred).
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read drawings and follow specifications.
- Comfortable working at heights and with power tools.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
Schedule & Location
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional evenings/weekends as needed).
- Based in Queens, NY with travel to job sites in NYC and surrounding areas.
