We are looking for caring and dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) For our HCBS program and help children after school or on weekends.
Applicants should have at least one year of experience working with children. Our program is funded by the government and aims to provide support and resources for children dealing with mental, emotional, social, and health challenges.
As a DSP, you will receive case assignments that matches with your skillset and schedule. You can choose to accept or decline these cases based on the child's specific needs, location, and available hours. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to create your own work schedule while providing essential services at no cost to families.
You will work with children on goals set by clinicians, which may include emotional regulation, social skills, and maintaining daily routines. Some cases may involve parent coaching, music or art therapy, and community outings.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $25 per hour, with potential for higher rates based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree can earn $35 per hour.
Most cases require between 10 to 20 hours per week, with options for additional hours. Services can be provided during school hours, after school, or on weekends, depending on availability.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Experience working with children is necessary; experience with special needs is a plus.
