Housing Coordinator (Transitional Housing) - multiple openings!
Hourly Rate: $25.50 - $26 / h
Key Responsibilities
Guide families through the housing application process and explain housing subsidy programs.
Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and brokers to secure housing opportunities.
Arrange and attend apartment viewings and landlord interviews.
Escort clients to housing-related appointments.
Track housing referrals, follow up with clients, and communicate with housing leads.
Work closely with Case Managers to develop permanent housing strategies and advocate for supportive housing when applicable.
Qualifications
Experience working in NYC’s housing market.
Knowledge of housing subsidies, supportive housing, and entitlement programs.
Computer literate; knowledge of CARES a plus.
Experience working with at-risk or homeless families.
