Hours: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (Start with 2 days per week, with potential for increased days based on performance and interest)
About Songs of Love Foundation
The Songs of Love Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating free, personalized, one-of-a-kind songs for children and teens facing serious medical, physical, or emotional challenges. Each song is tailor-made to reflect the child’s unique personality and brings a smile, comfort, and joy during difficult times. To date, we have created over 44,000 songs for children around the world. Our mission is to uplift and inspire children through the power of music, and you can be a part of that!
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Part-Time Outreach Coordinator to join our team! This role involves a combination of helping to prepare and pack personalized songs, conducting outreach to procure song requests and donations, and assisting with general in-office tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Song Preparation and Packing: Help prepare and package personalized "Songs of Love" to be sent to children.
- Outreach & Relationship Building: Assist with outreach efforts to hospitals, social workers, and families to secure song requests for children in need. Work to establish relationships that help expand the foundation’s reach.
- Donor Engagement: Help with outreach to potential donors to support the foundation’s mission. This may include email and phone communication, along with database entry.
- General Office Support: Assist with day-to-day office tasks such as data entry, filing, answering phones, and other administrative duties as needed.
Hours:
- Part-time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Starting at $18/hour
- Flexibility: Start with 2 days a week, with the possibility of increasing based on performance and interest.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Friendly and comfortable with outreach via phone and email.
- Passion for helping children and contributing to a meaningful cause.
- Basic computer skills (Apple computers, email, Microsoft Office, etc.).
