We are seeking an individual for a full-time office assistant position. The candidate must be a self-starter, with knowledge of an office environment. have excellent computer skills, think outside the box and can work in a busy environment.
Job Description:
This is a position of coordination requiring attention to project details and communicating clearly with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and other parties involved. Reports to the Manager.
Performs various technical and administrative assignments often under time schedule pressure, requiring attention to small details
Analyzes and executes complex information requests with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. Interfaces with all levels of the organization and external parties in a professional and effective manner. Maintains physical and digital project files. Assists with compiling and maintaining project documents. Maintains and updates various logs.
Provides other administrative support, including ordering supplies and materials, scheduling meetings, and other ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years related experience.
Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers,
electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile and copier equipment.
Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of common office software.
Proficient experience using Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Excel) Adobe and
Knowledge of databases.
Proficiency in basic filing principles and standard correspondence formats.
Strong Time Management, Organizational, and Prioritization Skills
Detail Oriented Individual
Experience:
2-3 Years in a office environment.
Associate (Preferred) in Construction related field
Compensation:
Pay: Starting $20 - TBD per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Brooklyn resident a plus.
