MUST LOVE DOGS (30-40 hours a week - occasional weekends)

The role of an Administrative, Operations, Client Support Specialist is to lead and oversee the work of employees and foster long-standing relationships with our customer base. Our team is here to ensure that all operations are running efficiently and consistent with the culture of the company while focusing on our growth and development.

Our goal is to foster a sense of teamwork and provide a supportive environment that focuses on employee retention and providing the staff with what they need to do their jobs safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee/Staffing responsibilities:

Arrange and send out daily schdules.

Provide real-time support for questions and emergencies in the field.

Answer calls and texts in a timely manner.

Provide field coverage field if necessary. (ie: scheduling fill-in staff to cover where needed or stepping in to cover yourself)

Provide direction and oversight to staff to ensure our team is following policies and procedures and are meeting the expectations for productivity and quality of work.

Provide regular performance feedback (ie: recognition, raises, disciplinary action)

Maintain an open dialogue with staff and encourage feedback in order to ensure management is meeting employees’ needs.

Maintain employee work schedules with regards to vacations and paid time off and sick days.

Keep track of staffing levels. Schedule interviews and interview and hire new employees based on staffing needs and provide coaching to help acclimate them to the work environment.

Manage onbording for new and returning employees.

Provide support for trainers. (ie: make sure trainer manual is up to date; organize and run trainer meetings to ensure everyone is up to speed)

Acquire and schedule weekend staffing each week and holiday staffing when needed.

Office Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain client relationships and handle all customer service requests.

Schedule client requests through our scheduling platform, as well as through calls and emails.

Maintain inventory of office supplies.

Answer any questions from prospective clients and set up new clients accounts.

Skills and Requirements:

Knowledge and experience dog handling or pet services.

Able to work in a fast paced/real-time environment

Above average written and spoken communication skills.

Above average computer skills and/or ability to learn quickly.

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Outstanding problem solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve sometimes unconventional problems in a timely fashion

Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and leadership skills.
