New York Safety and Training, a local, veteran-owned, family-run small business, is looking to hire an outgoing, personable part-time bilingual administrative assistant and receptionist for our Sunset Park, Brooklyn location.
PAY: $20 / hour. Part-time preferred (Full-time potentgially available in special circumstances)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual - Spanish speaking (spoken and written - native English speaker also able to speak Spanish)
Great customer service skills
Good attention to detail and quick learner
Professional, friendly demeanor
Computer proficient (Word, Excel, Google Docs / Forms, Slack, PowerPoint…)
Independent worker / Needs little-to-no supervision
Easy to work with and pleasant
Reliable / dependable
Skilled with answering phones and communicating respectfully with potential students
JOB DUTIES (Include but are not limited to):
Assorted reception and administrative tasks
Interacting with arriving students in a positive and energetic manner to best represent our company climate
Answering phones (English and Spanish)
Sending and responding to text messages (English and Spanish)
Responding to emails (English and Spanish)
Preparing classroom for class
Checking students in for classes
Assisting instructor with class attendance
Online class management
Data entry
Online filing
Creating/printing ID cards and certificates for students who complete classes
Assisting instructors and office managers
