Our client, a housing non-profit, is seeking a Facility Director in NYC. The hours are 9am-5:30pm (need a 24/7-hour mentality) five days a week.Responsibilities:Act as a point of contact for landlords and contractorsReview purchase orders, ensure the proper inventory of cleaning supplies and building materials exist at assigned sitesEnsure completion of building maintenance and repairsCoordinate for inclement weather; including snow removal, storms; etc.Create and keep a preventative maintenance calendar for assigned sitesSupervise facility managers, facility coordinators and maintenance supervisorsOversee maintenance scheduling and work through to completionAssist with training and hiring staffQualifications:Bachelor's degree or HS + 10 years of relevant experience required7 - 10+ years f building maintenance experience in a residential apartment or commercial building environmentKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs, drywall repairs and paintingMust be able to travel between sites throughout the City of New YorkA valid driver's licenseAbility to work outdoors in the elements, as necessaryExperience with contract negotiations.Proficient with Microsoft ExcelFacilities Management Profession (FMP) or similar certification is a plusCompensation/Benefits:Up to $125k depending on experience22 vacation days, 15 sick days, 4 personal days, 13 paid holidaysMatch 403BGreat health insurance options HSA and FSABeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
