This position requires strong knowledge of family-based visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, consular processing, and naturalization applications. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and government agencies to ensure that families can reunite and secure lawful immigration status.

Preparation and Filing of Family-Based Visa Petitions
Assist attorneys in preparing and filing Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) for spouses, children, parents, and siblings of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (LPRs).
Gather and organize supporting documentation, including birth certificates, marriage certificates, and proof of bona fide relationships.
Ensure all petitions comply with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations and requirements.
Adjustment of Status (Green Card Applications) and Consular Processing
Prepare and file Form I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) for applicants seeking green cards in the U.S
Assist in consular processing by submitting Form DS-260 for family members applying for immigrant visas from abroad.
Work with clients and U.S. embassies/consulates to coordinate interview scheduling and submission of required documents.
K-1 Fiancé(e) Visas and Marriage-Based Green Cards
Prepare and submit Form I-129F (Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)) for foreign nationals intending to marry U.S. citizens.
Assist with marriage-based green card applications by gathering evidence to prove the legitimacy of relationships.
Help clients prepare for USCIS interviews, including mock interview sessions and document reviews.
Case Management and Deadline Tracking
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client cases using immigration case management software.
Track filing deadlines for visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, and biometrics appointments.
Ensure compliance with USCIS, Department of State (DOS), and National Visa Center (NVC) timelines.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in family-based immigration, consular processing, or adjustment of status filings.
Attention to detail is essential.
Familiarity with Office Suites, heavy use of Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Google Mail, Google Calendar.
Reliability, teamwork, professionalism, and strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment; courteous and can-do attitude.
Excellent organizational and document management skills.
Turkish language is a plus.
