Hospitality & Facilities Assistant

Full-Time | On-Site | $70,000–$80,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Hybrid: 4 days in office, flexibility to 5)

Location: Midtown Manhattan (Madison Avenue)

Overview

We are seeking a poised, service-oriented, experienced, Hospitality & Facilities Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, professional environment. This individual will serve as the welcoming presence at reception on the 27th floor while supporting hospitality, conference room, and facilities operations across three office floors. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, and dedicated to maintaining an elevated workplace experience for employees and guests alike.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist internal visitors and staff at reception with professionalism and discretion.

Maintain and reset conference rooms throughout the day to ensure a consistently pristine environment.

Oversee kitchen and pantry areas—stock supplies, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, operate and restock coffee machines, and load/unload dishwashers.

Prepare kitchens each morning and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.

Manage inventory levels of pantry items and office supplies, placing restock orders as needed.

Support conference and event set-up logistics; break down and organize materials post-meeting.

Report and track maintenance issues through the building’s work order system to ensure timely resolution.

Serve as a backup to the Receptionist, providing seamless coverage during breaks or absences.

Travel between three office floors to ensure consistency and hospitality standards are upheld throughout.

Communicate any facilities or hospitality issues promptly to management.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in corporate hospitality, facilities, or high-end service environments (hospitality, financial services, or professional offices preferred).

Polished, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and discretion.

Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.

Comfortable with light physical activity, including restocking and lifting supplies as needed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and work order systems a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 base, commensurate with experience

Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday–Friday (4 days in office, flex to 5)

Overtime: Paid as applicable, though expected to be limited
