We are a small Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary design-build and fabrication studio, with a focus on architectural and ornamental metal fabrication. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant to join our team. This position will report directly to the Partners.
This is for Part-time, In-person work, 24-30 hours per week.
Candidates must be honest and trustworthy, able to work independently and manage time effectively. Experience and proficiency with Zoho Books and Rippling Payroll required.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Manage bookkeeping tasks using Zoho Books (or similar), including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- Manage payroll using Rippling (or similar)
- Assist with project management, coordinating with designers, engineers, and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide administrative support to the Partners, including email management, calendar organization, and data entry
- Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with construction terminology and processes a plus
