Established Service company over 25 years is looking for administrator/office manager with some bookkeeping skills, experioence with dispatching appointments, and follow up with billing. Must be organized and able to multitask with good phone skills and able to oversee day to day tasks while adjusting to changes. Candidate must be able to communicate to customer and be able to be legally employed with all required paperwork.
Tasks to include dispatch service staff, billing, ordering equipment, and follow up with parts and return appointments, and offer suggestions to improve functionality of the staff. Owner is hands on and often in the field on larger projects and is looking for an assistant to follow up on his phone calls and update appointments. We are looking for long term employment with some benefits over time. Our office is close to public transportation and a short drive from Queens. Personality and detail are important, and we are willing to teach the right person. Hours can be flexible, and we are open to all candidates.
