Job Title: Production Office Assistant
Job Summary:
The Production Office Assistant will play a vital role in supporting both production activities and administrative functions within the manufacturing facility. This position ensures efficient operations, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support:
Assist with the preparation and setup of production equipment and materials.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely and efficient production operations.
Monitor and manage inventory levels of production supplies.
Maintain quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and documentation.
Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Organize and maintain production areas.
Liaise with vendors and external partners as needed.
Contribute to the development and improvement of production processes.
Office Administration:
Manage and maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and quality control reports.
Assist in scheduling production activities and coordinating staff assignments.
Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, related to production inquiries.
Support purchasing activities by tracking inventory and assisting with order placements.
Prepare reports and documentation for management, ensuring timely submission.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant vocational training is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing or administrative role is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic familiarity with manufacturing software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
