Vehicle Rental Agent:

ABC LIVERY RENTALS has an immediate opening for a Rental Department Customer Service Agent. This is a unique opportunity for a customer service oriented person to interact and build loyalty and trust with our customers. In this fast paced environment your job duties will include, but not be limited to:

RESPONSIBILIES:

- Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion

- Verifying proper documents are obtained for rental completion

- Greeting customers and explaining the terms of their rental agreements.

- Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle rental options

- Helps customer with vehicle selection that fits their budget.

- Follow-up with renters to ensure successful referral business.

- Check mileage and inspect for damage when vehicles are returned.

- Respond to Internet inquiries within a timely manner to ensure clients’ needs are met

- Work aggressively to achieve and maintain sales goals.

- Utilize organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks

- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, rental options, and promotions

- Performs other duties as assigned

- Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day

REQUIREMENTS:

-1-3 years’ experience in Car Rental or TLC experience is preferred but not required.

- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")

- Car sales experience is not required but a proven sales background is a big plus

- Ability to use effective sales techniques.

- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with customers.

- Ability to present a professional, enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills to promote a positive impression to customers.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.

- Excellent phone etiquette and demeanor, strong written communication skills

- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of individuals verbally and in written form.

- Comfort level with technology.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment

- Attention to detail

- Organized and detail oriented

- Valid Driver's License

EXPERIENCE:

Sales: 3 years (preferred)

Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)

TLC and or Car Rental: 1-3 years (preferred)

Additional Compensation:

Qualified candidates for this position will possess great customer service skills with a desire to make every customer feel valued when they are with you. Applicant must have the ability to prioritize multiple job tasks quickly and accurately. Applicant must be computer proficient and well versed in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office software. Successful applicant will be required to learn inventory management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 PER HOUR TO START
