Seeking P/T admin help (hybrid online/in-person). $25/hour. Some French, interest in visual art, a plus.
One day a week, 10-6, onsite at an office for a small boutique consultancy, specializing in fine art.
Potential for additional hours worked remotely.
This is a perfect ongoing gig for a student, visual artist or related creative/professional looking for a bit of income without a big time commitment.
Responsibilities:
Light (1/2 hour or less) paper filing, in-person
Maintenance/updating of contacts in Microsoft Outlook.
Creating/updating documents in Excel and Word. Can be done in person or remotely.
Updating of entries in simple-to-use database. Can also be done in person or remotely.
Some light tech help, such as changing ink in printers. In person.
Some social media posting (Facebook, Instagram), potentially some assistance on Zoom calls, on email blasts, and in updating website. In person or remotely.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have your own laptop and cellphone, and be willing to bring it to our office in Manhattan.
You must be comfortable working with one colleague who has some ability with Outlook but can be intimidated by technology, but willing to learn. (The other colleague is completely comfortable with tech).
BIG PLUSES
A familiarity with French is helpful (no need to speak or write).
