We are looking for a passionate and empathetic Student Advisor to join our team and contribute to our supportive learning environment.

Job Summary:

The Student Advisor at Recoveries R US will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational journey, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed in their vocational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the counseling field, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping others achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them navigate their vocational goals.

Assist students in obtaining internships and/or employment by utilizing industry resources.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes.

Work closely with trainers, staff, and external partners to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge on Certification as a Peer Recovery Advocate (CRPA), Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), or Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) trainings.

Associate, Degree, Bachelor’s degree , Master's Degree or CRC is preferred but not required.

Experience in vocational counseling.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to student support.

Computer skills are required.
