Sterling Property Solutions, Inc. is a full-service real estate investment and property management firm, serving Westchester County.

We help our clients with market analyses, buying property, selling property, renting, and all other management needs.

Started as a one-person operation managing 8 buildings in 2008, the company has since grown to managing 300+ units.

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our business and grow with us!

What you need to succeed:

Must have car and Real Estate License. Being able to read and write Spanish is a plus but not required.

Due to the size of the team and our growing customer base, you will need to be adaptable and experienced working in a fast-paced environment. Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Day-to-day answering telephones, interacting with landlords and residents in a courteous and professional manner; opening and answering emails daily; and handling resident maintenance requests, inquiries, and concerns.

Collects rents and other monies; ensures that all transactions are processed and inputted accurately and completely in software; and completes daily deposits of all monies collected.

Reviews delinquent accounts and resident receivables, and determines necessary course of action to collect outstanding balances in consultation with the Owner or Office Manager.

Utilizes purchase orders when making purchases for the property.

Adheres to accounting and reporting procedures.

Leasing

Assist in reviewing completed rental applications and leases for accuracy and completeness, and for conformance to Sterling Property Solutions' Policies.

Conducts unit showings and inspections and applicant interviews in accordance with Sterling Property Solutions' Policies.

Adheres to Fair Housing, Equal Employment and Equal Housing Opportunity requirements while maintaining professional boundaries.

Assists in processing resident evictions in compliance with court order and directions from Owner or Office Manager.

Perform inspections of units and follows up with housekeeping letters, preparation of work orders and maintenance charge-backs to tenants.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Work to develop a collaborative and professional working relationship with other staff members. Maintain relationships with landlords and tenants. Request positive feedback on line to keep up our on line presence for SEO.

Exercises common sense, good judgment, consistency and self-control in day-to-day contact with residents and in other business-related matters.

EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated ability to handle a large number of projects at once and shifting priorities in a fast paced environment.

Demonstrated knowledge on Microsoft Office programs such as WORD, EXCEL, and OUTLOOK are essential.
