Small Management Firm is looking to add a New Property Manager to our firm.
The role of the manager will be to follow all day to day operations of their portfolio of units inclusive of the following responsibilities:
- Interact with coop and condo boards daily and report to them any issues that should need attention to and not limited to maintenance issues, billing inquiries and applications for sales and sublets.
- An inspection of each property within the portfolio of units of the buildings on a weekly basis that will include reports of updates of the supers and porters of the properties
- Ensuring all bills are correctly checked for accuracy and then submit to accounts department to have vendors paid
- Compliance that all vendors have adequate insurance and certificates I place before working on any project
- Vendor oversight in regards to the work they have been contracted to complete
- Attendance of monthly meetings with the coop and condo Boards as scheduled
The prospective employee should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Ability to multi task
- Organized in task completion and follow up
- An ability to prioritize tasks and work on a daily basis
- Work independently as necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and able to draft letters and memos
- Excellent communications
The applicant should have at least 3 plus years within the property management industry and the ability to travel with a car to their portfolio locations that are within the Bronx and Manhattan
Spanish is not required but a bonus
