Job Summary:
Our Building Maintenance Technician must have a minimum of five years of experiencing in building and facilities maintenance. To be successful in the role, an individual should possess a strong mechanical aptitude,can travel within the NY market to support commercial retail laundromats. You will have the ability to set your own schedule and work hours that are convenient to you given our stores are open 24/7. This is a full-time position working 40 per week.

Position Summary
Working as a full-time maintenance tech, you are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of drains, dryer vents, doors, filters, etc. by performing routine quarterly inspections as well as other day to day upkeep. You will be working under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance.
You will be responsible for the upkeep of our properties (interior and exterior) including all building equipment (excluding laundry equipment) using your skills, experience and multiple resources at your disposal. You will oversee and coordinate these activities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient operation.
Essential Job Functions
· Assess maintenance items as they come in using a work order system
· With approval, you will be able to purchase all materials to complete the work or projects, (please do not pay out of pocket for any of these expenses unless approved).
· Assess and address all interior and exterior maintenance and repairs as needed
· Assess and address the building maintenance and repairs as needed
· Ensure roof integrity is maintained and drains free of debris (Quarterly)
· Respond to all in-store building emergencies communicated
· Must be able to use snow plow attached to pick up truck
Requirements:
· Must be a dedicated worker (3-month probationary period)
· Must be willing to learn new things
· Must have 5 years experience with the following trades: Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and other various maintenance related trade
· Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Respond to all in-store building emergencies communicated
· Preferred knowledge of building maintenance to include but not limited to; Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, Compressed Air, Mechanical and Fire Alarms
· Must have own tools
· Must be able to use smart phone and have an understanding of work order platforms (Training will be provided.)
