ANTIK, located in Brooklyn Heights, is a haven for vintage enthusiasts, specializing in 20th-century French, Danish, and Italian design. Founded by Jenna Chused as an extension of her esteemed interior firm, Chused & Co., our store is dedicated to offering curated collections of distinctive pieces.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, a strong background in sales, and exceptional organizational skills.

Requirements:

Cover letter demonstrating relevant experience in interiors, showroom, or store management.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Squarespace.

Experience in social media marketing.

Familiarity with order processing, shipping, and receiving.

Knowledge of 20th-century French, Danish, and Italian design preferred.

Prior international shipping experience, especially with antiques, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.

Follow up on orders placed by the principal, entering them into the system, and overseeing receiving into the store.

Coordinate international shipments, including preparing shipping documentation and receiving goods.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail and organization, handling multiple tasks efficiently.

Possess an energetic and outgoing personality to engage with customers and promote items on Instagram through daily postings.

Conduct research on vintage and antique items to determine pricing strategies.

Coordinate with external vendors to ensure all store functions, such as locks, security, and trash pickup, are properly maintained.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a high-end retail environment, particularly in the home sector, is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
