We are a premium Japanese condiments company looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our POP-UP store located in Tangram, Flushing, Queens.

Position: Kitchen helper
Location: Tangram, Flushing, Queens
Type: Full time 40 hours, (Must work FriSun)
Pay: Starting at $20/hour (up to $23/hour depending on the skill and exp)
Experience : Minimum 2 years of kitchen work in required
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
Seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with food preparation and kitchen support. Responsibilities include chopping, slicing, portioning ingredients, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring food safety standards. Must have basic knife skills, be organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 pounds required. Food safety knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications:
Previous retail sales experience is preferred , prefer in a food or gourmet products environment is big PLUS.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a busy retail setting.
Passion for gourmet food and an understanding of Japanese culinary culture is a plus.
Availability on weekends is essential.
