Differio.com is a unique menswear online store looking for an entry level assistant to work closely with our small team. This role is for entry level candidates with a US working permit. Differio.com is a trendy, boutique menswear store, offering designer clothing, footwear & accessories for men.
We are looking for a person who is reliable, hardworking and loyal. You will assist the warehouse manager in our daily orders (fulfilment, shipping, returns) merchandise counting and inventory as well as folding clothing. You should possess the ability to multitask, have a great eye for detail and a perfectionist approach. A take charge attitude is welcome here and encouraged. You will receive training and we will give you support and assistance whenever needed. We are a very small team and see ourselves as a second family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. This list is not exhaustive of all duties that the position holder may be required to perform:
- Handle purchases, order fulfilments, packaging, and ensuring shipments and deliveries are sent to customers.
- Handle returns including clothing/merchandise quality control, issue refunds, maintain client satisfaction.
- Administer all inventory control activities, oversee and keep accurate inventory for the warehouse.
- Receive shipments, carry light boxes, and handle product count.
- Fold, package and iron clothing.
- Update inventory count on our website when needed.
- Sometimes assist with photo shoots, prepare sets, organise and iron clothing.
About You:
- Perfectionist and detail oriented.
- Basic computer use/skills is a must.
- Clothes folding and ironing skills is a plus.
- Multitasking skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Can work independently or with a team.
- Has a strong willingness to learn.
This role cannot be performed remotely and you will be physically present at our warehouse in Astoria, New York, 5 days a week and 8 hours a day.
