We are a sustainable seafood company working with New York’s top chefs to deliver the freshest fish on earth to our customers with product sourced exclusively from the waters off Montauk, New York.
Dock to Dish is seeking Independent Contractor Drivers with experience driving High Top Sprinter/comparable model vans and trucks to deliver fresh seafood from Long Island to NYC Restaurants.
This is a swing shift, where an ideal candidate is ok coming in to work at around 3:00AM to help pack out the fish, and then delivering the fish to restaurants from around 6:00AM-12:00PM.
This job will start on Mondays and Thursdays for about 20 -25 hours a week, but will be ramping yo to 30-40 hours/week soon. Hourly salary is $30-$35/hour based-on experience.
A LOVE OF FISHING AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE SEAFOOD/RESTAURANT INDUSTRY IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
Contractual Requirements:
-Must own a smartphone (Android or iPhone)
-Love of fishing and knowledge of seafood/restaurant industry encouraged
-Drivers must be 21+ years old with valid driver's license
-Good driving record (no more than 3 violations in 3 years)
-Pass drug screen and felony background check
-Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
-Must be available and willing to work between the hours of 3:00am - 12:00pm
-Must exhibit positive professional attitude
-Must have your own reliable transportation (to get to work, not make the deliveries) or live in/near 10474
