Retail Associate (Part-Time)
Pay: $20/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking a dynamic and dependable Part-time Retail Associate for our shop in Industry City, Sunset Park Brooklyn. Operating hours are currently as follows but subject to change depending on season and demand:
Monday: 12 PM-6PM
Tuesday: CLOSED
Weds, Thurs, Fri: 12 PM-6PM
Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM - 6 PM
Preferred schedules will be coordinated individually, considering hiring needs. Ideal candidate has regular weekend availability and is able to work at least one full weekday shift per week. Preference will be given to candidates who can be flexible with covering or picking up additional shifts as needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include but are not limited to:
Customer Service: Create positive and memorable experiences for customers that foster brand loyalty.
Multitasking Ability: Successfully handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
Product Expertise: Maintain knowledge of a wide range of products and share your expertise to provide personalized recommendations, explaining the craftsmanship and benefits of our quality materials and designs
Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to optimize customer experience and store operations, ensuring a supportive and positive work environment.
Store Maintenance: Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store. Conduct restocks, daily inventory counts and reporting.
Sales Support: Assist the leadership team in driving sales, customer engagement, visual merchandising, and operational excellence.
Flexibility: Model reliability and adaptability by working varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Tech Savvy: Embrace and utilize technologies and systems (Shopify, Slack, Google Suite) to enhance customer service and operational efficiency
Opening/Closing Duties: Perform opening and closing tasks, with potential responsibility for store keys.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 1+ years in retail or customer service; experience with POS systems preferred. No minimum education required; a bachelor's degree may indicate capacity.
Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and basic math. Proven ability to engage customers and drive sales. Positive, collaborative and self-motivated mindset.
WORK ENVIRONMENT::
Retail store environment, which may require standing for extended periods.
Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on store needs.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable using a ladder, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs; able to maintain an active presence on the sales floor.
