Job Description: We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative to join us and represent the Ooh Baby by Anika brand. The candidate will have a proven track record in retail sales, preferably pop-ups and union square holiday market, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of fashion trends, brands, and closing the sale. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are adept at conveying the stories behind our designs, and are not afraid to push for a sale, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and relationship building.
Provide excellent customer service, including personalized recommendations and addressing customer inquiries.
Communicate the unique stories and inspirations behind each design to customers, enhancing their shopping experience and connection to the brand.
Stay informed about current fashion trends, brands, and influencers to effectively promote our products.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to sales, utilizing persuasive techniques to close deals and drive revenue.
Maintain a professional and polished appearance that aligns with the Ooh Baby by Anika brand image.
Stand for extended periods during store hours, ensuring a strong and visible presence on the sales floor.
Collaborate and regularly communicate about sales with team members to create a positive and motivating work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of solid retail sales experience with a proven track record of success. Experience in pop ups and preferably the Union Square holiday market.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, brands, and influencers.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for fashion and a commitment to representing the Ooh Baby by Anika brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Previous experience in a high-end or fashion-forward retail environment is a plus.
